Lifescapes is a new online initiative from Orange County luxury resorts. The website endeavors to share with the viewer, the lore of India in the form of a fortnightly slice-of-life photo-essay, featuring a single compelling picture with a short commentary. Contributors to Lifescapes include a team of inspired photographers, editors and facilitators, backed by the Orange County management team.

The initiative is inspired by the philosophical definition of a good photograph, being one which takes an instant out of time, and alters life by holding it still. The best still images, are also moving. They move a viewer beyond time and space, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually, by telling an entire story, in a single frame.

We trust this Responsible Tourism Initiative from Orange County, designed and built by D'zine Garage, kindles the spark of interest in the nature and culture of our land. At the time we release this news, Orange County has also won 3 awards at the 16th World Travel Awards in London for India's Leading Wildlife Resort, Asia's Responsible Tourism Award and Asia's Leading Themed Resort. We were there with them to share this moment and what was nice to note was the fact that the website we designed for them played a big part in the victory.
