Australian Education International (AEI) is the international arm of the Australian Government's Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR). AEI conducts an annual quiz to promote Study in Australia, by testing a student's knowledge about the country down under. AEI has tied-up with schools in select cities for enabling those students to participate in the quiz.

Last year over 1289 students from 96 schools across Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata participated in the quiz. This year, the Australian Quiz 2009 went online on May 15 and closes on June 10. The online model is now in its second year, with the entire application being designed and developed by D'zine Garage.
